Danny Murguia, Founder/Owner
As founder of Universal Flooring, Danny was inspired to create a commercial flooring company at a young age. Since 15, he worked as an installer apprentice with his cousin who has his own flooring company. After years of apprenticeship, Daniel started his small business from the ground up in 2001. Through obstacles and successes, the company has flourished into what is widely known in All California as Universal Flooring Inc.(UFI). UFI specializes in public works such as school districts and government buildings, as a commercial flooring contractor.

Flooring Installation

Shot Blasting
Shot blasting is a surface treatment technique that makes use of particulate grains propelled under high velocity. This process is a highly effective solution for removing contamination on metal substrates or changing the coarseness or smoothness of a surface before coating.
Floor Preperation
Without proper floor surface preparation, many problems can arise once you've installed your new flooring. If you have ever seen uneven floors, peeling floors, or bubbling floors, it could be because the floor wasn't properly prepped.
Removal & Disposal
We will take your old flooring away. We pride ourselves on environmental disposal when available and appropriate.
Floor Sealing
Floor sealing will prevent warping in the floorboards, prevent rotting, and help to stop cracks from forming. We will consult on the best preparation and proper sealing for increased durability.
Furniture Lift
We install flooring without dismantling cubicles or unloading fully stocked shelving and retail displays by using "Furniture Lift" technical services allowing for a less disruptive renovation and saving you money compared to the high cost of conventional installation.
